As many of you are aware, the Finning contract will expire soon. The Finning bargaining committee has met and put together a membership survey for the 2016 set of negotiations. The paper versions will be available in all of the branches/facilities in the next week or so. See your local stewards to get your survey. Once the surveys are filled out, onsite stewards will need to collect them and get these surveys back to the union office.  In the meantime, the online version is available now ( click here ).

Your bargaining committee reads and compiles statistics from every one of these surveys: it is the best chance for our membership to directly feed back information to the committee. Every question on the survey is important, but the comments section is especially critical. The committee searches those comments for key words and then uses them to prioritize the importance of these items.
